London Deposition of Witness or taken at
London, that is to say, at the parish of Saint
Mary Staining in the Ward of Aldersgate
within in London aforesaid the 21st. day of
September 1792 on view of the body of
Nathaniel Proctor< no role > now here lying
dead.

Painter maketh oath that Yesterday about six OClock Dept and She deced who was his
Master with some other Workmen of the deceds were employed
at Coachmakers Hall in Noble Street in the parish of Saint
Mary Steyning . that Dept. the deced and some of the November
were employed in painting a two pair of stairs Room belongn.
to the Hall that looks into the Yard of the Hall that the deced
got out of one of the Window's for the purpose of Landing or
Ladder for Dept. who had got into the yardthat Dept not
being able to reach the Ladder from the deced who then
stood on the ledge on tride of the Window returned to go up
Stairs to the Ladder down the Stair case but Dept
Leaning the Ladder fall returned adjoin into the yard
& found the deced lying upon the Pavement [..] with in face,
downwards his hands extended and a great quantity of
blood about him Dept. lifted him up that he appeared
quite dead, and had a large Wound on the right side of
his head from whence part of his Brain come out that
a Mr. Winter a Surgeon was sent for who came but the
deced was quite dead by the time he comes.
