The Informations of Witnesses
taken at the parish of Saint Botolph
Billingsgate in the ward of Billingsgate in
London aforesaid on the 18th day of September
1792 on view of the body of a man unknown now
here lying dead.

No 6 Grange Walk< no role > Bermondsey in the
County of Surrey Gangman at Cox's
Quay London upon his Oath saith that
yesterday afternoon about half past
five o'Clock being on Cox's Quay he
saw something floating through
London Bridge which the tide
brought down to Cox's Quay that
he look a Boat and went to it and
found it to be the body of the Deceased
which he lock into the Boat and
by order of the Parish Officers of
Billingsgate landed it on the Quay
and delivered it to the parish Clock
-That the body appeared to have
been in the Water about Eight or
Nine Days and had on a mixed
Coloured Coat Striped Waistcoat blue
Nockings and Shoes tied with a String
and Nankeen Meeches< no role > , [..]
but found nothing about the body
by which Deponent could [..]
