Informations of Witnesses
taken at the parish of Saint
Thomas within the Borough of
Southwark in the County of Surrey
21st. April 1792 on view of the body
of Richard Smith< no role > there lying dead.

Edward Carter< no role > Servant to Mr. Jackson of Fish
Street hill London Toyman maketh oath that on Tuesday
afternoon Dept saw the deced who had a Child on his Arms
fall down as he was along Fish Street hill in the pavement
and the near Wheel of a dray that was then passing went
over his left arm. Says the dray was going very slow, & the
deceds [..] fell as it [..] between the shaft horse andbehind the dower and between him and the near Wheel
the Wheel.Says that directly the accident happened the
driver of the dray slopped his Horses. Dept says the deced
got up and walked away.
