Elizabeth Eyres< no role > of No. 18 Turnagain Lane aforesaid
widow maketh Oath that the deced has lodged in a two
pair of Stairs back Room in the house sometime past
that the deced has been confined to his Room about
a Neck-that she saw the deced about nine OClock last
Night-that he complained of a great deal off in but
seemed sensible-that about eight OClock this Morning
[..] went up to the deced's Room that [..]
she pushed the Door open a little away and on going
in to the Room she found the deced hanging by a Cord
fastenedfastenedto the Top of the Room Door-
that he was a little warm but was quite dead
that Doctor Yates was sent for

John Tirtle< no role > of No. 56 Snow Hill Surgeon & assistant to Mr.
Yates maketh Oath that he attended the deced on Monday
last that he complained of a violent pain in has Bowels
which the deced sayedhewas occasioned by a Cold he had caught
that [..] on Dept. examining him he found he had a Fever on
him-that he saw the deced again on the Tuesday following
that the Fever was very much increased on the deced and he
appeared much worde That the Dept. has no doubt but the
Fever the deced was afflicted with [..] might occasion a
Delirium-that some persons applying to Mr. Yates this
Morning Dept. went to the deced's lodging that he found
the deced sitting on the Floor his Legs extended and his
head resting on the Foot of the Bed that he was warm [..]
[..] that Dept. used his endeavours to recover
the deced but without effect for the deced never recovered
that the deced had a Mark of something round his Neck from
which Dept. concluded the deced had hanged himself
