Same, & if ye. party's refuse to
Submitt thereto then ye. C Wardens
are to Sue for the Same &
be indemnified

Church Rate in an Amicable Method, Then to referr to the
Ordinary to hear and Determine the Same, and in Case the Party
or Party's complaining shall refuse to Submitt to the Ordinary's
Determination, Then the Church Wardens or their Successors
are to Sue for the Same, and be indemnified from all Actions
or Suits relating thereto.

A New Lease ordered to be
Granted to Mr. Green the
Reprsentative of Mr Cass of
the Lands Etc. at Ware for 14
Years to Commence from
Michas last at ye. Yearly
Rent of £17 pay a: half
Yearly

Then Mr. Church Warden Scullard Acquainted the Gentlemen
present That the Lease formerly Granted by this Parish to
Mr. Aaron Cass< no role > of Twelve Acres of Land lying at Ware at the
Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds Expired at Michmas last, and
that the said Mr. Cass also held by an other Lease from this
Parish Two Acres and Three Roods of Meadow Ground lying
also at Ware at the Yearly Rent of Six Pounds ten Shilling
for the Term of one and Twenty Years from Lady Day 1729.
which Lease would Expire at Lady Day 1750. But the said
Mr. Cass is lately dead, and Mr. Green his Representative
is inclinable to Surrender the said Lease of the Meadow
Ground, and take a new Lease of both the said Parcells of
Land for the Term of Fourteen Years to Commence from
Michmas last at the Yearly Rent of Seventeen Pounds
payable half Yearly If this Vestry thought fit to grant
him such Lease, And the Same was taken into Consideration
and after Some time Spent thereon The Question was put
whether This Vestry should Accept a Surrender of the Lease
now in being of the Two Acres and Three Roods of Meadow
and afterwards grant a Least to the said Mr. Green of bo [..]
the said Parcells of Land at Ware belonging to the Parish
for the Term of fourteen Years to Commence from Michmas
last past at the Yearly Rent of Seventeen Pounds payable
half Yearly. It past in the Affirmative.

Ordered That the Vestry Clerk do Prepare a Drafts of such
Lease to Mr. Green accordingly.
