This Vestry was Summoned by Mr. William
Barber Upper Church Warden pursuant to the last
Order of Vestry To Fix on a Method of Choosing a
Lecturer in the Room of the Revd: Mr. Hay deced.

At which Vestry the Last Order of Vestry was Read.

The Election of a Lecturer to
be by Ballott

Then a Motion was made Whether the Election shod.
be by Ballott And It passed in the Affirmative.

Also a Motion was made Whether the Seven Candidates
should be Ballotted for and upon such Ballott be
reduced to the Two Highest, and that upon the second
Ballott the Highest of such two Candidates should be
duly Elected. And It passed In the Affirmative.

Ordered That the first Ballott for the said Lectureship shod:
begin on Thursday the 25th. Day of January next at 10 o'Clock
in the Forenoon & End at 1 o'Clock The Second Ballott
to begin at 3 o'Clock and End at 6 o'clock precisely on the
Same Day.
