Memorandum it is this 1st: day of March 1753 . Agreed between the Master Wardens
& Commonalty of the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters London on the One part And John
Cobb of Carpenters Buildings London Gentleman on the other part as follows Vizt.
The said Master Wardens & Comonalty for themselves and their Successors Do agree to Let
by Lease and the said John Cobb< no role > for himself his Extors & Admors Doth agree to take
by Lease All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts Situate and being in Carpenters
Buildings afore said and No.1. as the same was late in the Possession of Chas. Wallers< no role >
and now of him the said John Cobb< no role > . To bold from Lady day now next for Seven
Years from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and Ended At and under the
Yearly Rent of Sixteen Pounds payable Quarterly And the said John Cobb< no role > doth for
himself his Executors and Admors Agree to execute a Counter part of a Lease of the said
Premisses upon the above mentioned Terms and Conditions when there unto Required
in which Lease is to be inserted all the Covenants usually Contained in the Companys
Leases to their Tenants and all other Reasonable Covenants whatever As Witness
his hand the day and Year above Mentioned

of Carpenters Buildings London Inveller of the other pt. as folls. Vizt.

The sd. Master Wardens & Comonalty for themselves & their Succors do Agree to Lett by Lease
And the sd. John Knight< no role > for himself his Extors & Admors doth agree to take by Lease All that
Messuage with the Appurts Situate in Carpenters Buildings assd. as the same is now in the
Possion of him the sd. John Knight< no role > To hold from Lady Day now next for Seven Years At and
under the Yearly Rent of Twenty Pounds payable Quarterly, the said Company putting
the sd. House [..] in to Reasonable tenantable Repair And the sd. John Knight< no role > for
himself his Extors & Admors doth agree to Execute a Counterpart of such Lease upon the
terms & Conditions above mentioned To pay for the same when there unto Required In which sd. intended Lease is
to be Inserted all usual & reasonable Covt. & particularly such Covt. as are usually
inserted in the Company's Leases Witness his hand the day and year above written
