Amelia Frances Smith< no role > the widow of John
Smith
< no role > deced maketh oath that her said late husband
heretofore rented a house in Star Court in the Parish of
St Botolph without Aldgate in the said County and
during such his residence therein he was Charged to
and paid Kings Taxes for the same She this Deponent
paying the same to Mr John Freeman< no role > the then Collector
of such Tax That after payment of such Tax this
Deponts said husband never rented a house Lodging or
other Tenement of the yearly rent or Value of Ten
Pounds or upwards nor ever Served any Parish
office nor ever Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
nor ever did any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
That Since her said husbands death She hath not lived
as a hired Servant for a year nor been Married nor
rented a house or Lodging at the yearly rent of Ten
pounds or done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
and that She was lawfully married to her Sd husband
