Mary Coins< no role > maketh oath that She
was heretofore duy bound Apprentice by the Parish
officers of the Parish of St George Hanover Square
in the said County to William Scales< no role > of Rosemary
Lane in the Parish of St Botolph witht Aldgate in
the Sd County untill She Shod. Attain her Age of
twenty one years or be married to learn the business
of a Hat & Bonnet maker which his Wife Carried
on That her said Master dying about Four years
ago as She now best recollects She was there upon
discharged from her said Apprenticeship That
although since such her discharge from her Sd
Apprenticeship She hath been hired & lived as a
hired Servant in different Places yet She never
Continued in any one of such Services for the space
of a year & She hath not done any Act to gain a
Subsequent Settlement & that She Continued divers
Years as an Apprentice under the said Indre and at
the time She was discharged there from her said Master
& Mistress were Inhabitants in the said Parish of
St Botolph without Aldgate
