oath That divers Years ago her late Father Dennis Clifford< no role > deced
rented a house of the yearly rent of Eighteen pounds in Rosemary
Lane in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd
County & was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the Same & at which
time She this Deponent lived with him there as part of his Family
That her Said Father did not afterwards rent a house of Ten
pounds a year or upwards or Serve any Parish office or pay
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a Settlement
elsewhere he & this Deponts Mother dying in the Sd house That
She this Deponent never was bound an Apprentice nor ever
lived as a hired servant for a year nor was ever married
nor ever did any Act to her knowledge or belief to gain a
Settlement in her own right

maketh oath that her Said husband who is now Confined as a
Prisoner for debt in Whitechapel Goal lately rented a house
at the yearly Rent of Twenty five pounds in Eastsmithfield
in the Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd County
& was Charged to & paid Poors Rates for the Same & thereby
gained a legal Settlement in the Said Parish & has not
Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or
Served any Parish office or paid any poors Rates or Kings
Taxes or done any Act to her knowledge or belief to gain
a Settlement elsewhere That She has two Children namely
Ann < no role > Aged about eight Years & James < no role > Aged about Six Years
the lawful Issue of this Deponent by her Said husband
to Whom She this Deponent was lawfully married
