It is Ordered that it be referred to the Prison
Committee to look into the Charter of this Hospital and
to report to the Court what Prisoners this Hospital is
bound to receive.

Upo Reading the humble Petition of
Thomas Kearton< no role > Citizen and Draper Setting forth That
he served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
Lawrence Wingfield< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. by Indenture dated 12th June 1766
and by Order of Court of the 27th. July 1773 was made free
of this City the 7th. October 1777. was set up for himself
in his Trade as a Founder at No. 40 in Crispin Street
Spittle fields , had received Mr. Fowkes Gift and praying
part of Mr. Locks Gift It is Ordered that Mr Deputy
Rogers, John Spiller< no role > Esquire and Thomas Phillipps< no role > Esquire
or any two of them be desired to Inquire if the said
Thomas Kearton be set up for himself in his Trade of
his hopefulness therein and Report the same to the
Court.

Taylor George to be
inqd. after for Locks Gift

Upon Reading the humble Petition of
George Taylor< no role > Citizen and weaver Setting forth That he
served his Aprenticeship in this Hospital to William
Wilby< no role > Senr. by Indenture dated 14th. December 1767
and by Order of Court of 2d. March 1775 was made free
of this City the 3d. October 1775 was set up for himself in
his Trade as a weaver at No. 5 Maiden Head Court
Aldersgate Street had received Mr. Fowkes Gift & Praying
part of Mr. Locks Gift It is Ordered that Mr. Saml.
