confirmed.

The Minutes of the House Committee were read and
confirmed.

as to figures at the
Entrance of the Hospl.


Upon Reading a Report from the Committee of
Bethlem Hospital bearing date the 27th. day of June last
under the Hands of Nathl. Thomas< no role > Esqr . Aldn . treasurer Mr.
Deputy William Rogers< no role > William James< no role > Esqr . and Mr Deputy
Gabriel Leekey< no role > in the words and figures following "In
"Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 30th. of April last
"whereby it was referred to this Committee to employ a proper
"Person to take down the Figures at the Entrance of this
"Hospital and restore the same and afterwards to consider
"where they might be placed so as to be preserved in future and
"Report their Opinion thereon to the Court This Committee
"having taken the several matters above referred to them
"into consideration it was found that they were very much
"Damaged and Impaired by being so long exposed to the
"Weather and therefore not capable of being restored to the
"perfection and in the manner they wished and expected This
"Committee is therefore of Opinion That Mr. Bacon the Statuary
"be Employed to Repair the said Figures in such manner as he
"shall think proper and that when they are so repaired that they
"be replaced at the Entrance of this Hospital from whence they
"were taken down All which is nevertheless submitted to the
"Judgment of the Court."This Court having duly weighed &
Considered the said Report doth confirm the same.
