Committee Thursday 29th. March 1770 In Pursuance of
an Order of Court of the Twenty NInth day of June last whereby it was
Ordered that Mr. treasurer
be desired to Treat with the Governor and Co.
of the New River Water Works for the purchase of their Interest in the
Lease Granted to them from the governors
of the Premises in their
Occupation in Bridewell Precinct
We Certify that Mr treasurer
having with the Assistance of the House Committee Proceeded to Treat
with the said Governor and Co. the following Conditions were proposedon
their part as the Basis or Ground of such Treaty. that is to say
1st.
The Company to Assign over the Lease of their Yard and Wharf
wch they hold of the Hospital at £100 P Ann at Michs. 1770
2d.
The Company to Assign over the Lease of Ground which they hold of

3d.
The Hospital is to take at Michs. 1770 Mr. Bodicoate as a Tenant to both of
the above mentioned Premises at £120 P Ann for the Remr. of the Tenn in the
Lease of that Ground held of

The Company are to leave on the said Premises the Crane the Offices
lately filled up out of that part of the House left unburnt the Feace
