Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Ralph Lanes< no role >
Citizen and Weaver Settingforth that he served his Apprship
in this Hospital to William Grinsell< no role > of the Artsmasters by
Indenture dated the 5th. of December 1757 And by Order of Court
of the 16th. June 1768 was made free of this City 13th February last
and was set up for himself in his said Trade at Mr. Thos. Cobeel< no role > 's
in Turvell Street Spital Fields Praying Mr. Fowkes Gift It
is Ordered that Henry Cranke< no role > Esqr . Mr. Deputy Rogers and Mr
William Rogers< no role > or any two of them be desired to Enquire if the said
Ralph Lane< no role > be set up for himself in his said Trade and of has
hopefulness therein and Report the same to the Court

At this Court the following Persons who serv'd their Apprentiship
in this Hospital were Ordered to be made Free Vizt.

Upon Reading a Report from the House Commitee under the
Hands of William Kinleside< no role > Esqr . treasurer Samuel Seawell< no role > Esqr .
Mr Charles Hoyle< no role > Mr. Samuel Read< no role > Mr. Henry Kent< no role > and Thos.
Wilkinson
< no role > Esqr . in the Words and Figures following Vizt. At a
Committee Thursday 29th. March 1770 In Pursuance of
an Order of Court of the Twenty NInth day of June last whereby it was
Ordered that Mr. treasurer be desired to Treat with the Governor and Co.
of the New River Water Works for the purchase of their Interest in the
Lease Granted to them from the governors of the Premises in their
Occupation in Bridewell Precinct We Certify that Mr treasurer
having with the Assistance of the House Committee Proceeded to Treat
with the said Governor and Co. the following Conditions were proposedon
their part as the Basis or Ground of such Treaty. that is to say

1st.


The Company to Assign over the Lease of their Yard and Wharf
wch they hold of the Hospital at £100 P Ann at Michs. 1770

2d.


The Company to Assign over the Lease of Ground which they hold of
Christopher Masterman< no role > at £40 P Ann at Michs. next

3d.


The Hospital is to take at Michs. 1770 Mr. Bodicoate as a Tenant to both of
the above mentioned Premises at £120 P Ann for the Remr. of the Tenn in the
Lease of that Ground held of Christopher Masterman< no role > at £40 P Ann.

4th.


The Company are to leave on the said Premises the Crane the Offices
lately filled up out of that part of the House left unburnt the Feace
Walls and Gates, the Charter Room & the Paving of the Yard
