a Gratuity of 30 Guineas
Ordered him.


A Motion being made that in Regard to the great Care of
Mr. Henry Wentworth< no role > the Surgeon of these Hospital a Gratuity
be given him for his Extra ordinary Services and the Sum of
Thirty Guineas being now proposed and the Question thereon
put It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said Henry Wentworth< no role >
Thirty Guineas as a Gratuity for his said Services to be allowed
him in his next Account.

Vacancy of Barber of
Bethlem Declared on the
Death of Ephraim Elcock< no role > -


At this Court the Vacancy of a Barber of Bethlem by the
Death Ephraim Ellcock< no role > was declared and the Election of another
was Ordered to come on the next Court

John Jackson< no role > , to be paid
£10 Mr. Fowkes Gift


John Ibbetson< no role > Esqr . and Robert Fleetwood< no role > Esqr . two of the Governor
reported that in pursuance of an Order of Court of the 12th. May last
they had made an Inquiry and found that John Jackson< no role > who-
served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to Mr. Robert Hadwen< no role >
is set up for himself in his said Trade and has the Character of
a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay
the said John Jackson< no role > Ten Pounds of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be
allowed him in his next Account.

£10.- Mr. Locks Gift


Mr. Deputy Gamon and Mr. Samuel Bates< no role > reported that in
Pursuance of an Order of Court of 16 June 1768 last they had
made an Inquiry and found that Charles Wright< no role > who served
his Apprentiship in this Hospital to Mr. Robert Hadwen< no role > one
of the Artsmasters is set up for himself in his Trade and
has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered
that the Steward do pay the said Charles Wright< no role > Ten Pounds
out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him in his next Account

Fisher Philip< no role > made free


At this Court Philip Fisher< no role > was Ordered to be made free
of this City who served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to Mr.
Wilby by Indenture dated 7th. July 1761 .
