It was Ordered That a Lease should be granted to Richd. Haydon< no role >
in Consideration of a Fine of £120 and also in Consideration of his
laying out £800 on a Wharf called Pigs Quay and two Houses adjoining
on the South Side of the Acorn in Water Street for 61 Years to commence
from Christmas then next at £50 P Ann

It was Ordered that a Lease should be granted to the sd. Richard
Haydon
< no role > in Consideration of £10..10..0 of a Messuage in Water Street
called the Acorn for 61 Years from Christmas 1737 at £5 P Ann

Upon the Petition of Boucher Cleeve< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife Admrix
of the said Richd. Haydon< no role > her late Father deceased Setting forth the
above recited Orders and that he afterwards in July 1749 died Intestate
whereby the said Mary< no role > his Daughter was become intitled to the said
Premises for the Residue of the said Term and praying that the said
Leases might be made to the said Boucher Cleeve

It was Ordered that the Leases of the said Premises should be made
to the said Boucher Cleeve accordingly

The said Boucher Cleeve afterwards died having made his Will
and appointed the said Mary his Wife Sole Executrix who is
likewise since dead having made her Will and appointed Neighbour
Frith and Elisha Biscoe< no role > her Executors.

But It is doubted whether they ought to have the Leases all the
Repairs not being done or whether they have any Right Publickly to
sell the Houses resting upon the said Agreement or even if such Leases
were granted as all the Lessees under the Hospital are restrained
from Assigning without Lycence to any other Person but their Exors
or Admors and an additional Rent reserved upon such Assignment

Lease from the governors of Bridewell Hospital to the New River
Company of all that double Brick Messuage called to the New River
Office And also all that Wharf lying next the River Thames for
61 Years from Michas 1744 at £100 P Ann

Ordered that the Clerk call upon Mr. Woodhouse and desire to
know upon what Terms the Bridewell Hospital are willing to renew
