Upon Reading the humble Petition of Edwd. Lewis< no role > & John Jos Schweighauser< no role >
two of the Extors of Henry Loubier< no role > late of London Merchant deced and Marianne Lewis< no role >
Wife of the sd. Edward Lewis as follws ViztThat at A Court 21st March 1753 a Leese with
Usual Covenants was Order'd to be made to Godfrey Thornton< no role > Esqr (since Deced) of 36 feet of
Ground infront in Old Bethelm from Lady day 1752 for 7 Years which will Expire 1823)
at a Pepper corn rent for the fist year & £7..10P And clear of Taxes for the residue of
the sid Term Paying 20 Guineas Fine, But he dyed before any Lease was Executed having
made his Will and His Wife Margaret< no role > (since deced) and John Thornton< no role > Esqr. Extors thereof
And the sd. John Thornton the Survioing Extor proved the sameThat at a Court 11th April 1744
upon the Joint Petr. of the sd. John Thornton and Henry Loubier of London Merchant Settingfath
That above £ 2000 had been laid out in Erecting a Messuage and Coach house Steales
and other buildings on the Sd. Ground, a Lease was Orderd to be made thereof to thesd. Henry
Loubeir for the Remr of the sd Term them to come, But he also dyed before such Lease
was Executed having made his will and a Codicil thereto whereby he gave the sd. House
to this Daur. your Petitioner Marianne Lewis And to her Extors Admr & asses for and
during all the residue of the Term to come Therein and of his aid Will Appointed
your Petrs. Edwd. Lewis and, John James Schweighanser Together with John Lewis Loubier< no role >
and Stephen Teissier< no role > Extors, and the Petrs Edws Lewis and John Jas Schweighauser
only have proved the same in the prorogative Court of Canterbury and have taken upon
then the Burthen of the Execution thereofAnd praying that a Lease of the sd Messe
& promes may be made to the Petr. Edward Lewis for the Permr of the sd. Term now to
come He being ready to pay the sd time of 20 Guineas and to Execute a Counter part of
such LeaseThis Court doth Order that the sd. Lease be made to the sd. Petitioner
Eward Lewis as prayed

At this Court the following Poor boys were Order'd to be pout out Apprentices Vizt.

A Motion being made that in regard to the Extraordinary Diligence of
Mr Richard Pice< no role > the Porter of this Hospital a Gratuity be given him for his
Good Services for the time past since the Court gave him a Gratuity and the
Sum of Twenty six pounds being now proposed And the Question thereupon
putIt is Order'd that the Clerk do pay the sd. Mr. Pice Twenty six
pounds as a Gratuity for the said Services
