This Court being Chiefly called for the Election of a Treasurer in the
Room of Mr. Alderman Alsop who Resigned, Hath unanimously Elected Mr.
Deputy

to be Treasurer
of these Hospitals untill the
next Election Day, And desired the Comittee of this House to wait upon Him
and Acquaint him That this Court hath unanimously Elected Him
Treasurer of these Hospital And Doth request He will please to Accept
the same And He being in the Dineing room some of the Comittee Accordingly Did
Upon which He came into the Court and returned them His thanks
for their Election of Him into the said Office which He said He Esteemed as
a very Great Honour And that He wou'd Diligently Attend the
Service of these Hospitals.
