This Court being acquainted that the Wharf to the River of Thames (a little
beyond Wapping new Stairs ) parcell of the posessions of the Hospital of Bridewell
and now held under 2 Lease (No. 4) from the Governors to Martha Baily< no role > and
Samuel Bloss< no role > extends into the River about twenty
feet beyond the adjoining Wharf and ground belonging to the same Hospital
being report in [..] Thames and let by Lease (No. 3) to William Bates< no role > which has occasional a Bank of
Slough rising against the last mentioned Wharf by reason whereof none but
very small Craft can come near it. It is Ordered that Application be made
to the Lord Mayor & Aldermen of this City for lease to extend the last
mentioned Wharf equal to the first.

Mr. Treasurer acquainted this Court That Robert Chester< no role > Esqr . having
by his Will given to the Hospital of Bridewell and Bethlem £100. to be paid
after the death of his Sister Jane who has been dead mere than a year's
half past but that disputes having arisen in the family the said Legacy was
but lately paid by the Executors who prayed the Governors will accept the
same without InterestOrdered it be referred to the Committee of this
House to consider thereof and report their Opinion to the Court.

Mr. President acquianted the Court that he had received two Letters from
John Harries< no role > Executor to Abraham Plumb< no role > deced late Tenant of an House
in Fowks Court Tower street under an Agreement bearing date the 30th. day
of Novr. 1733 for the term of seven years from Christmas then next
setting forth That the said Harries was willing to pay the Rent due at Laday
next 1738. being three Quarters of a year and prayed to be discharged of the
said AgreementOrdered that it be referred to the Committee of this house
to consider of the said Letters and of Mr. Harries proposals and report their
Opinion thereon to the Court.

and gone beyond the Seas where he still remainsOrdered that he be
