Beadles Gra ½ yr Xmas1737
Upon reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles of this Hospital
for their usual Gratuitys of Forty Shillings a piece in report of the
half year ending at Christmas last for that their Salarys are but small
It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto
them Forty Shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next Account.
Baskettmen do
Upon reading the humble Petition of the three Beadles or Basketmen of
the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings
a peice in respect of the half year ending at Christmas last for that their
Salarys are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals
do give and pay unto them Twenty Shillings a peice to be allowed him
in his next Account.

to be duly Elected Portersman of the said Hospital till the
next Election dayAnd it is Ordered That upon his giving out
Security as is usual in the like Case and producing a Certificate of his
and his Wifes Settlement, He the said John Brown< no role >
be admitted
Portersman of the said Hospital of Bridewell
untill the next Election day
and that he have such Appartment as the Comee of this House shall think [..]
