This Court being acquainted that Thomas Batchelor< no role > by and with
the licence and consent of the Governors of this Hospital by Indenture
dated the 6th of May 1735 bound himself Apprentice to Sutton
Sharpe
< no role > Needlemaker one of the Artsmaster s of this Hospital, It is
Ordered by Consent of the said Sutton Sharpe the Master Thomas
Batchelor
< no role > the Apprentices and his Mother that the said Indentures
be cancelled, and the said Indentures were accordingly cancelled in
Court

At this Court the several humble Petitions of Robert Finch< no role >
Weaver and Thomas Racy< no role > Tailer were read Setting forth That they
are willing to comply with all the Rules of the House made and to be
made in relation to Artsmasters and to take such a Number of
Apprentices as the Court shall think fitt and praying to be elected
an Artsmaster in the room of John Surman< no role > who has with drawn
himself from his Appartment in this Hospital and gone
beyond the Seas where he still remainsThe Govrs gave their
Ballots which being cast up. the Numbers appeared to be as
follows Vizt

Whereupon the Worshipfull Robert Bishops< no role > Esqr Treasurer
declared the said Thos. Racy< no role > duly elected and it is Ordered that
the said Thos Racy< no role > (upon delivering a Certificate of his Settlement
to the Clerk and producing the Copy of his Freedom of this City)
be admitted an Artsmaster of this Hospital untill the next
Election day upon giving Security as is usual in the like Case
and that the Journeymen which he shall employ in his said
Trade shall be such as have served their Apprenticeships in
this HospitalAnd it is further Ordered that he have such
Appartment as the Comee of this House shall think fitt./.

This Court being acquainted that Sr William Boreman< no role > Knt deced having
by his will made many Years ago given a Legacy of £50 to Bridewell Hospital
a Bill in Chancery was brought in the name of the Drapers Co & others ptts against
Elizabeth Yardley< no role > and others Dofts praying that the Estate of the said Sr William
Boreman
< no role > might be sold for payment of his Debts and Legacyes And that by a
Decree made on the Hearing the said cause the 16th day of July in the 9th Year of
Queen Anne the said Estate was ordered to be sold for that purposeAnd that
in pursuance of the said Decreee and several Reports and subsequent Orders
made in the said cause several parts of the Estate had been sold and all partys
were ordered to joyn in the Conveyances thereofAnd that accordingly the
following Conveyances had been prepared and executed by several of ye partyes
viz Indres of Lease & Release dated ye 9th & 10th days of March 1737 made between
