viztIn persuance of an Order of Court of ye 23d. day of June 1715.
whereby it was Referred to this Comee to treat and agree with the Tenants
of the houses which were burnt in January 1714/5. in Fowks Courts
belonging
to Bethlem hospital
This Comee have been attended Several times by
Mr
Henry Burlace< no role >
who held one of the said houses under a Lease for
Eleven years which expired three quarters of a year after the said fire happend
and he alledged that he Suffered very much by the said fire and had not
insured his house nor was in circumstances to rebuild ye same but offered to
pay two hundred pounds to be discharged from the Rent and Covenants in the
said Lease from Christmas 1714 to which time he had Cleared his Rent and
said it was the utmost he was able to do And this Comee haveing
considered the Circumstances if ye Case and person agreed to accept ye sd
Same of Two hundred pounds and he hath accordingly paid ye same
into ye hands of Mr. Trear Tayler and desires to have ye Counterpart of
his Lease delivered up Whereupon It is Ordered that the
Clerk do deliver to the said Mr Burlace the Counterpart of the said
Lease to be Cancelled

made to the Petr. upon which She gave halfe a Guinea to ye poor Box
which nevertheless is Submitted to ye Judgmt. of ye Court This Court
doth Confirme the said Report and Order that a Lease be made to
her accordingly
