Mr. Henry Marshall< no role > one of ye Governor of these Hospitals acquainted
This Court That Mr John Fisk< no role > deced has by his Will given ye residue
of his Estate to Charitable uses and amongst them £100 to this
hospital but that his Estate as his Executor alledges will fall
Short about one fifth part of paying his Legarys and therefore
the Executor proposes either to pay £80 for the £100 to this
hospital imediately or £100 four years hence or that the Govr.
may take ye Estate at ye rate he values it which is £450 &
pay ye Legacys Whereupon Mr Marshall is desired to gett a
Copy of ye Will and what information he ran of ye Estate and
to Lay ye Same before this Court

Setting forth That he Served his apprentice Ship to William
Phillips
< no role > weaver one of ye artsmar s of this hospital and by an Order
of this Court ye 22d. of March Last was on ye 8th. of Aprill
following made free of ye City And is Sett up for himselfe in Lamb
Alley in Bishops Gate Street over agt. the Shuttle and praying
Some part of Mr. Locks Gift to enable him to carry on his Trade
It is Ordered that Mr. William Lee< no role > Mr John Furnese< no role > Mr
Edward Beacher< no role > & Mr Joseph huntman< no role > four of ye Governours
of these hospitals or any 2 of them be desired to inquire whether
ye said Robert Tomlinson< no role > be sett up in his said Trade & of
his hopefullness therein and to make their Report to this Court

Upon reading ye humble Petition of Thomas Wells< no role > Setting forth
That he served his apprenticeship to Joseph Roe< no role > weaver deced late one of ye
artsmar . of this hospital and by an Order of this Court ye 22d. of March Last
was on ye 15th. of July following made free of ye City and is Sett up for himselfe
at the white peruke in Chick Lane and
praying Some part of Mr Locks Gift to enable him to carry on his Trade

It is Ordered that Mr. Depty Beckley Mr. Carpenter Capt. Polehampton
and Felix Feast< no role > Esqr . four of ye Governours of these hospitals or any 2
of them be desired to enquire whether ye said Thomas Wells< no role > be sett
up in his said Trade and of his hopefullnesse therein and to make
them Report to this Court
