for himself in St John's Court
in Cow Lane
next to ye Coopers Arms
And praying some part of Mr Locks Gift to enable him to carry on his
Trade It is Ordered That Mr Depty Beckly Mr Carpenter Capt.

s. of this hospital Setting forth that he served his
Apprenticeship
in ye hospital and has Since been an artsmar
. 23 years brought
up many Apprentices, and traded for £30,000 but by great Losses is
reduced very Low and that this Court compelled him to quit ye hospital
and his goods being removed in a hurry were much broke and damaged by
lying in ye StreetThat at ye time he was first out of ye hospital he
had paid his Depts to a Small matter and was promised employment for
3 or 4 apprentices which would have maintained him and his family But
haveing no room to Sett up his working toolls has been out of employment
five Months and for it to sell & Greatest part of his Goods to support nature & ye
rest have been Sheltered by a freind who will neither harbour him nor them any
Longer & no parish or Landlord will receive him without Security wch. he cannot
give & is likely to be termed into ye Streets except this Court will allow him Some
room & praying such releife as to ye Court shall seem meet This Court
considering that ye sd
