Upon reading the humble Petition of Henry Kite< no role > weaver Setting
forthThat he served his apprenticeship with John Machin< no role > one
of the Artsmasters of this hospital and was made free the 14th.
day of June 1715 pursuant to an Order of Court of ye 4th of Febr
1714. And is Sett up for himselfe in his said Trade in Ram Alley in
Bishop Gate Street And praying Some part of Mr Locks Gift the better
to enable him to carry on his said TradeIt is Ordered
that ye Consideracon of ye sd Petition be Referred to ye Comee of this house
who are desired to enquire whether ye sd Petr is Sett up in his Trade and
how he has behaved himselfe and to Report to this Court then opinion
upon ye sd Petition

apprent made free


At this Court the person hereunder named was Ordered to be made free of this
City haveing Served his apprenticeship in this hospital to ye artsmar .

Upon reading the humble Petition of Edward Burton< no role > Setting forth
That by Order of ye Governours of this hospital the 11th day of June 1708
he was put apprentice to William Atkins< no role > Tailer deced late one of ye
Artsmasters of this hospital with whom he served part of his apprenticeship
And was afterwards by Order of ye Comee ye 29th. day of March 1710 turned
Over to John Young< no role > Citizen & Long Bow String maker of London late
Also one of ye Artsmasters of this Hospital with whom he Served ye
Remainder of his said Apprentice Ship but that his Indenture of
apprentice Ship being either Lost or mislaid he could not apply to
this Court in ye usual manner for a Certificate on ye back of his
Indre in Order to be made freeman of this CityAnd praying Such
Order for his freedom as the Court Should think fitt any ye Court being
Satisfied of ye truth of ye allegations of the said PetitionIt is
Ordered that ye said Edward Burton< no role > be made free of this City
not wth. Standing his Indenture be Lost
