Ordered That Such Moneys be Issued and paid to Edward
Cordwell
< no role > Carpenter On Account of the Houses he is now building
for Bethlem Hospital in Tower Street As the Comittee of this
House shall think fitt to direct

Miles Edmd< no role > to be appr .


Ordered that Edmund Miles< no role > a poor boy be put Apprentice to
one of the Artsmasters of this Hospital at the Nomination
of Mr. Depty Waylett.

Ordered that the Accompts of these Hospitals be made up Once
in every Year And that the Auditors be desired at every Audit to Call
Over and Examine into the Securityes of all the Officers & Servants of
this House And to Supply Such as may be dead or become insufficient

Also upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House the
27th. day of March last As follows ViztIt is the Opinion
of this Comittee that Mr Waller Acton< no role > the Steward of this
Hospital with his security do Enter into a Bond as usual of One Thousand
Pounds penalty And that he make up his Account Annually
or oftner if required And to Enter upon the Receipts from
Christmas last This Court doth Confirm the same

James Foulis< no role > deced haveing petitioned ye Court ye 23d. day of July
1714 for a new Lease of two houses in old Bethlem what he held as assigner
of Adam Wright< no role > deced under a Lease which is expired; his Sir James
Foulis
< no role > who continue in possessive came to this Comee and offered to take [..]
new Lease for 31: years at the yearly Rent of Eighteen pounds if ye
Governours will repair ye same or otherwise to repair the same himselfe
and pay ye old yearly Rent of four pounds And this Comee haveing considered
the said proposal are of Opinion that ye said James Foulis do pay ye old Rent
of four pounds from ye exporation if the Lease to Midsumr next and that
he do then quitt ye said pre [..] according to his warning And one of ye said
houses being at a Corner which Stratens ye passage there and [..] ever
to ye opposite houseThis Comee are of Opinion that ye said corner house
being old should be pulled down & ye Cast improvemt. be made if ye Ground
so as to enlarge ye passage Ant it is Ordered that this Opinion be reported
to ye next Court This Court haveing duely weighed & considered ye said
Report doth confirm ye same
