To and to the use of the sd. Major Coialty and Citizens of the sd City
Governor s aforesd their Successors or AssignesThis Court doth
approve and confirme the said Agreement and Order that a
Lease be made to the said Roger Taddy< no role > and James Taddy< no role >
accordingly.

a Lease of a house in
Bridewell precinct Confirm'd}


Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house dated the
24th. day of Novemr. last in these words viztIn pursuance
of an order made at a Court holden at this hospital on the 30th. day
of May 1712. This Comee took into consideracon the Petition of Francis
Godman Settingforth That he had been Tenant by Lease from ye Governor s
of this hospital for 21 yeares of a house and Wharfe and other things
Scituate near King Edwards Stayres in the precinct of this hospital at the Rent
of £17. P Annm which Lease expired at Lady day 1712, And praying to have
a new Lease of the same premisses for another Terme of 21 yeares under ye
same rent and Covenants as are contained in his former Lease and that
in regard the premisses are much out of repaire and the Petr haveing alwaye
paid his rent well he humbly hoped the Court would allow him Something
towards the repairing thereof And the sd. Francis Godman< no role > haveing
Several times attended this Comee wthout. comeing to any Aagreemt. He
this day attended agen andagreed to put ye premisses into repair at
his owne charge and to take a new Lease thereof for 21 yeares to
Comence from Xmas next under the yearly rent of £20 payable
quarterly and the same Covenants as in his said former Lease and
Such other usual Covenants as are contained in the Leases granted by
the Governor s of this hospital to their Tenants-This Comee are of
Opinion that he should have a Lease upon those TermesThis
Court haveing duely weighed and considered the said Report doth
confirme the same and Order that a Lease be made to the
said Francis Godman accordingly.
