Beadles Gratuitys for ½
a year to Xmas 1713}


Upon the humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters man
of this hospital for their usual Gratuitys of forty Shillings a peice
in respect of the halfe year ending at Xmas last for that their Salaries
are but small It is Ordered by this Court that the Clerk of these
hospitals do give and pay unto them forty Shillings a peice to be allow'd
him in his next account

Basketmendo


Upon the humble Petition of the three Beadles or Basketman
of the hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings
a peice in respect of the halfe year ending at Xmas last for that their
Salaries are but small It is Ordered by this Court that the
Clerke of these hospitals do give and pay unto them Twenty Shillings a piece
to be allowed him the his next account

Chappel Clerke a Gratuity
of £4 for ye year to Xmas
1713}


Upon reading the humble Petition of Roger Gethin< no role > Clerke of ye Chappel
of this hospital. Setting Forth That he is at a constant Charge and trouble in
cleansing the Chappel ye Lobby and the stayres & looking after ye appurtencer
besides her teaching ye apprentices of this hospital twice a week to sing Psal [..]
& not haveing any allowance or Salary in respect thereof and humbly praying ye
consideracon of ye Court for Such her Service for the year last past ending
at Xmas last It is Order'd That ye Clerke of these hospitals do give &
pay unto ye sd Roger Getting< no role > four pounds as a Gratuity for Such his Service
for the year ending at Xmas last to be allowed him in this next account
