William Meekins proceedingsdefend and Rodery Odery proceedingsdefend This name instance is in set 1425. , of St. Martins in the Fields , were indicted for feloniously stealing 12 s. 6 d. the Mony of John Farren proceedingsvictim . It appeared, that on the date aforesaid at Midnight, the Watch found the Prosecutor's Cellar Door open, and knocking up the Prosecutor, he looked to see whether any thing was missing, but finding every thing safe, went to Bed again; but the Watch finding the Door open again, called up the Prosecutor a 2d time, who miss'd the Mony mentioned out of his Box. The Prisoner's being immediately taken, confessed the Fact. The Jury found the both guilty to the value of 10 d.
