Evans
< no role > deced & Elizabeth Evans< no role > her Daughter Severally make
oath And first the said Margaret Evans< no role > Saith that divers
Years ago her said late husband rented a house in Gillams
Court in the Parish of Saint Mary Rotherhithe in the
County of Surry at the yearly Rent of Five pounds & ten
Shillings & lived in the Same for Several years & that
during Such his Residence therein he was Charged to and
paid the Kings Tax for the same and by means thereof
gained a legal Settlement there & did not afterwards do any
Act to gain another Settlement nor hath She this Depont
Since his death done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
And the said Elizabeth Evans< no role > for herself Saith that She
never was bound an Apprentice nor ever lived in any one
place as hired servant for the Space of a year under any
one Contract or hiring nor was ever Married nor to her
Knowledge or belief ever did any Act to gain a Settlement
in her own right.
