That She Can give no Account respecting the Settlement of her Parents
or either of them That She this Depont. has been informed by her
Father & which information She believes to be true That She was
born in the parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex That She this Depont. never lived as a hired
Servant for a year in anyone place or was ever bound apprentice
nor was ever married nor ever did any Act to her knowledge
or belief to gain a Settlement for herself That She hath a Child
named Ann Cotton< no role > aged about twelve weeks which is a
Bastard & illegitimate & was born in the Workhouse of the
Parish of Saint John Wapping in the County of Middlesex
& that one John Cotton< no role > late of the parish of St George
Bloomsbury in the County of Middx Bricklayer did get her
with Child of the said Bastard Child.
