William Lindsay< no role > maketh oath That he was duly
bound apprentice by Indre to one George Crew< no role > of St Martins Lane in the
parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the sd County Taylor & Served
about two years of Such his Apprenticeship & then this Depont with his
said master removed into Litchfield Street in the Parish of Saint
Ann Soho in the City & Liberty of Westmr. in the said County where
this Depont Served the remainder of his said Apprenticeship
& by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That he this
Depont. has not Since lived as a hired Servant for a year or rented a
house of the yearly rent of Ten pounds or Serve any parish office
or paid any poors Rates or Kings Tax or to his knowledge or
belief hath he done any act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
that he hath a wife named Elizabeth to< no role > whom he was lawfully
Married.
