James Dean< no role > maketh oath that divers Years ago
he rented a house of the Yearly Value of Twenty Pounds in Saint
Martins Lane in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields Westmr
in the County Middx & was Charged to & Paid Parish Taxes for the
Same & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there And
this Deponent Saith that he hath not Since rented a house of the
Yearly Rent of Ten Pounds or upwards nor Served any Parish
offices nor Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor to his
knowledge or belief hath he done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement And that he hath a wife named Ann< no role > .
