That divers Years ago he bound himself with his Mothers
Consent apprentice by a Common Indenture to John Coventry< no role >
of Graves Lane in the Parish of Saint Saviour in
the County of Surry Packthread Spinner and Served three
years of his Said apprenticeship under Such Indre in the Same
Parish and than this Deponent & his Said late Master by
Mutual Consent Agreed to part and thereupon by Mutual Consent
burnt & destroyed this Deponts. Indres of apprenticeship and
thereby (as it was then meant and understood by this Deponent
& his said Master) intirely Cancelled or Annihilated the Said Indre
& put an end to this Deponents said apprenticeship And this
Depont thereupon left his said Master That during Such his
apprenticeship as aforesaid this Depont lodged & lay in his said
Masters house for the Space of a year That Since this Depont
left his Said Master he this Depont. hath not lived as a time
Servant for a year in any one place nor hath rented a house
of the Yearly Rented value of Ten Pounds a year or upwards
nor Serves any Parish offices nor Paid any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes nor to his Knowledge or belief hath he done
any Act to gain a Settlement Since he left the Said John Coventry< no role >
