The Examinacon of Margaret Ludgate< no role > Singlewoman
Taken on Oath before us twoof his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the Sd. County of Middx
residing in or next to the limits of the parish
Church of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the Said
County this Thirtieth Day of July1750
whereof one is of ye Quorum

This Examinant upon her oath Saith That
about Michaelmas last one John Younger< no role > of
Red Lyon Street in the parish of St Mary
White chappell in the Sd. County Distiller with whom
this Depont. then lived did prevail with this
Depont. to Suffer him to lye with her at his Sd. house
& had Carnal Knowledge of this Examinants body
Several times Whereby she Conceived with Child
of aMaleFemale Bastard Child of which she was
Delivered at the house of Mr. Trumball in White
Hart Yard in the Sd. parish of St. Botolph witht
Aldgate on the 28th. Day of June last which Sd.
Female-Bastard Child hath been Baptised by
the Name of Margaret Younger< no role > & hath been now
is & Still is likely to be Chargeable to the said
parish of St. Botolph witht Aldgate this
Examinant being poor & not able to provide for
the Same And this Examinant Farthr. Saith
that ye sd. John Younger< no role > is the true & only
father of the sd. Female Bastard Child And
that this Examination is Voluntary & that she
hath not been forced or Compelled to be examined
by any person or persons whomsoever:
