Peter Dall< no role > maketh Oath that on or about
the Twenty fourth Day of July One Thousand
Seven Hundred & Sixty Seven he was duly
bound Apprentice by Indenture at Watermans
Hall to Thomas Biffen< no role > of Customs House
Court Beer Lane in the Parish of Allhallows
Barking in the City of London Waterman &
Lighterman , for Seven Years, that he duly
served his Master there under the said
Indenture about Four Years, when his said
Master delivered him up his Indentures &
accepted the Sum of Nine Guineas in
Satisfaction for the remainder of the Term
then to come & unexpired, that he was never
turned over by his said Master to any
other Person, nor did he serve any Person
under the Indenture with the knowledge &
Consent of his said Master, that he has
not Since his said Apprenticeship Rented
any House or Lodging of the Yearly Rent
or Value of Ten Pounds or paid any Poors Rate
or Kings Tax or done any Act to his knowledge
or belief to gain a subsequent settlement
that he has a Wife named Elizabeth< no role > to
whom he was lawfully Married at
Aldgate Church about Twenty three, Years
ago
