Hanover Square
with in the Liberty of
Westminster
in the County of Midsex
upon an Inquisition touching the
death of a woman unknown lying
dead in the said Parish Liberty
and County.

Oath saith That on Thursday last the Second
Instant between one and two o'Clock Dept. was
walking in the Willow Walk
when he saw
same Linen floating upon the Water in the
Ditch on the South side of the Walk, Says
that on taking hold of it he saw the Aren of
the Deced, upon which he went to acquaint
Mr. Hardy therewith who came with two
other Men and assisted Dept. to pull the Deced
out of the Ditch, when she appeared to be
dead, that some Blood come out of her
Tongue, but Dept. observed no other hurt
upon the Deced, Says that Mr. Hardy and
the other Men carried Deced to the Sign of
the Monster
and that Mr. North the Surgeon
was fetched who boned [..]
[..] the Deced and said
that she had been dead some time.

two o'Clock Jacob Somerford came to Dept.
and informed him that a Woman was Deced
in the Ditch by the side of the Willow Worlk
upon which he went and saw the Deced in
the Ditch lying on her side with the Head
down wards, Says that he assisted to pull her
out
