Possession of the 2 Beadles Staves of the Lower Liberties
of this Parish claiming them as the Property of the
Burgesses Court and refusing to deliver them 'up to the Parish
unless the right was acknowledged and the Parish
would give a Security for returning them-and Mr.
Ritson having Offered to shew the Minutes of the
Burgesses Court by which he claimed such Staves
Ordered that Mr. Perrins Mr. Burnthwaite and the
Vestry Clerk wait on him to inspect such Minutes
and Report to the next Vestry
The late Overseers paid over the £100 to the Churchward. [..]
in discharge of their Note as Customary and the £100
was advanced by the Churchwardens to the present
Overseers upon their Note
The Accounts of Messrs. Wilks Stephens Shepard and
Broughton were closed when there appeared to be a
Ballance of £in their Hands which was
Ordd. to be paid over to Messrs. Dent Pedlingham Pollock
and Morris or their Treasurer
Mr. Perrins moved and seconded by Mr. Sumner that
Mr. Wilks be allowed the Sum of £2..2..0 for Collecting &
getting in the Arrears on Mr. Stephens's Book
Ordered that the Rate for the necessary relief of the Poor
for the first Quarter be at 7d. in the Pound rents-and
that the Vestry Clerk do late the Books accordingly
