Mary Abbot proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Mildred in the Poultry , was indicted for privately stealing 18 s. in Money, and a Silver Seal, value 2 s. from the Person of Samuel Garal proceedingsvictim , on the 29th of March last. The Prosecutor swore, That about 9 at Night he was pick'd up in the Street by the Prisoner and another, with whom he drank three Pints of Wine, and afterwards rode with them in a Coach into Fleerstreet, where he was set down, and miss'd his Money; and about a Week after, he met her in the Street, and siez'd her. He own'd he was in Drink, and the Prisoner bringing Witness that she was at home all that Evening the Fact was done, she was acquitted .
