Elizabeth Hall proceedingsdefend and Mary Tomson proceedingsdefend , were both indicted for privately stealing Muslen to the value of 15 s. from the Shop of Thomas Clark proceedingsvictim , on the 8th of June last. It appear'd, that the two Prisoners came to the Prosecutor's Shop and cheapen'd Muslen, but not agreeing with the Prosecutor's Servant, went away; when gone the Goods were missing, but being pursu'd and brought back, the Muslen drop'd from Elizabeth Hall in the Shop. The Prisoners saying little in their Defence, the Jury found them both Guilty to the value of 10 d.
