, of London, was indicted for
feloniously stealing a Silver Candlestick, value 12 s.
the Goods of a Person unknown, on the 10th Instant. It appear'd that on the Date aforesaid, the Prisoner brought the Candlestick to a Pawn-brokers, who suspecting the Prisoner to have stolen it, was apprehended, and carry'd before a Justice: Upon her Examination, she confess'd she stole it from a House near the 7 Dials; Enquiry being made, it appear'd that the Candlestick was stolen out of the House of Mr. Rushworth, near the Place aforesaid. The Jury found her
guilty to the Value of 10 d.
