Isaac Coulthouse proceedingsdefend , was Indicted for Feloniously stealing a pan of Brass Scales, a Steal Tobacco-Box, a Knife, 2 Brass Weights, 4 ll. Weight of Sweetmeats, 200 Apples, 50 Oranges, with other things , the Goods of Anne Simpson proceedingsvictim , on the 10th Day of April last. The Evidence Deposed, that coming by the Prosecutors Stall about 12 a Clock at Night, found it broken open, that at the same time he heard a rattling of Scales about the Prisoner, and having seiz'd him upon Suspicion, found divers of the Goods upon him, which prov'd to be the Prosecutors. The Prisoner could give no account of his Reputation, the Jury found him guilty to the value of 10 d.
