Examination TextAnn Watts aged about 30 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of John Watts (gone from her about three months) to whom she was married at the ffleet about eight years ago, that he is a Peruke Maker by trade and was bound an apprentice by indenture to John Crafts a Peruke Maker in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out which expired about eight years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since, that she has no children living. Taken in the workhouse the eighth day of March 1750.
