Examination TextElizabeth Tudor aged 49 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Charles Tudor a servant to Mr Kemp, fishmonger at Temple Bar to whom she was married at Oxendon Chapel about 26 years ago, that he is a Fishmonger by trade and lived in and rented an house next the sign of the Cross Keys near St Martin's Lane in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one year at the yearly rent 26 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 25 years ago and hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 23rd Day of March 175[1] before James Fraser.
