Examination Text | Mary Rogers aged 31 years and upwards lodging at Mr Valentine's, a Milk Cellar under Mr Elliott's a Hosier the corner of Heath Cock Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes, but that she was a yearly hired servant to the said Mr Valentine as aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 50 shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same 10th day of January instant. Sworn the 25th day of January 175[1] before James Fraser. |
