Examination TextJane Mylan aged 51 years and upwards destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the widow of [Darius] Mylan (who has been dead near seven years) to whom she was married at St Clement Danes in the Strand about 23 years ago, that he was a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Kings Court in Russell Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of six years and upwards at the yearly rent of 12 pounds 12 shillings besides taxes, quitted the same about eight years ago and never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes after, nor hath she this Examinant since his death, that she has two children living by her said husband to wit Mary aged 19 years and upwards, a Servant, and Thomas aged about nine years now in the workhouse of and in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields. Sworn the second Day of October 1750 before James Fraser.
