Examination Text | Richard Perry aged 63 years destitute of lodging upon his oath saith he is a Bricklayer by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Edward Scott a Bricklayer in Crown Court in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served his Master about four years, and then inlisted for a soldier, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 21st Day of April 1752 before Benjamin Cox. |
