Examination Text | Alice Motlay aged 60 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed the Parish of West Wickham in the County of Kent upon her oath saith she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Allen Hadon in that part of James Street Long Acre which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of three years and upwards at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 30 years ago and hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the sixth day of January 1752 before Benjamin Cox. |
