Examination TextWilliam Stacey aged 58 years destitute of lodging upon his oath saith is a Waterman by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Thomas Young a Waterman in Salisbury Street in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out which expired about 33 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since, that he hath no wife or children living. Sworn the eighth day of March 1753 before Benjamin Cox.
