Examination TextSarah Honnor aged about 68 Years Lodging at one Mrs Carr's in the Scots arms yard the other end of Bedford Bury , says she is the wife of William Honnor, That she was Married to him at the ffleet about 28 Years agoe, Saith he never was bred to any Trade, That she was a Servant to one Anthony Row Esqr before she Married him , but how long he lived with the sd Mr Row before his marriage with her knoweth not, Saith kept house in Stanbury Court near Bond Street, then in the Parish of St Martin in the ffields, now in the Parish of St George Hannover Square about six years, paid £8 Pr Ann Rent & paid the scavengers Rate, particularly to a ffarrier who then lived against the Duke of Devonshires in Piccadilly , but his Name she hath forgot, Saith that Tax for the Pru of hath been demanded of her . but cannot Remember whether she. paid it or not, left the same about fifteen or sixteen Years agoeand she or her of said Husband (as she knoweth or ever heard) never kept house Rented £10 Pr Ann or paid any Parochial Taxes since hath children by him . but had one Daughter by her former Husband Ann the Wife for John Garret who lately was at Bow Brickhill in Buckinghamshire but where that she is now dead or livingknoweth not.
