Examination TextAnn Clarke aged about 20 years passed from St Andrews Holborn above the Barrs, Saith , she was never Married, That she was bound an Apprentice by Indre to one of Mrs Sherman the Cleal Starcher who then lived the backside of the New Exchange in the Strand for four Years & Served her said Mistress , there the whole Terme which expired about four Years agoe, Save since she was a yearly hired servant to one Mr Paul a Perukemaker near Arundell Street in the Strand about half a Year, had £3 s10 d 0 Pr Ann Wages Diet & lodging, left is the same about two Years agoe and never was in any other Service since the expiration of her Apprenticeship, never kept house.
